A couple of years ago I posted a blog on consignment shopping in Auburn and Opelika. That article has been our second most popular post in the history of our blog. Well, over time things change. Consignment shopping in Auburn and Opelika is not immune to that change.  So, it’s time to write a follow-up to that article.

Ginger’s Consignment Shop

She says she loves the treasure hunt atmosphere of consignment shopping and is passionate about affordable fashion.  She also enjoys selling vintage and unique items in her quaint shop near downtown Opelika.

Ginger’s staff are as much a part of Ginger’s as she is. She works with her shopkeepers to provide more than just a welcoming atmosphere. Their goal is to make shopping fun!

Fringe Kids accepts popular, boutique branded, and designer children’s clothing for girls and boys on consignment- sizes newborn through 16. Shopping at Fringe Kids is a ton of fun for both parents and children.

Kids Clothes Connection

In addition to the year round consignment stores, Auburn and Opelika offers a twice a year consignment sale.  Kids Clothes Connection started over 20 years ago and has become one of the largest twice a year sales in Alabama.

Debby and Tommy Harper have given a big portion of their lives to offer parents in the Auburn and Opelika region an alternative to yard sales to get rid of the clothes, toys and furniture that their children have outgrown.  The Spring and Fall sales offer thousands upon thousands of items.  These sales draw people from hundreds of miles away.

Kids Clothes Connection also carries gently used furniture and just about anything else you would expect to find at a large consignment sale.
